Welcome neighbors, friends, and travelers, new and old! The Dakota East Side Ice House has been a San Antonio staple since opening in 2018, located less than 5 minutes from downtown. We've been recognized as one of the best Ice House by the San Antonio Current, recognized for our amazing food by Texas Monthly and the San Antonio Express-News, and recognized by locals as the "chillest" place to hang out.

We always have something unique and exciting going on and welcome you in whenever you're looking to enjoy yourself! Parking is available across from the bar in our lot, but also available freely in the neighborhood!

The Dakota is proud to provide a community gathering spot where everything from gentrification to motorcycles can be discussed; with some of the best live music in town. San Antonio’s Eastside is one the most diverse cultural, ethnic, and economic communities in this city and we strive to spotlight this uniqueness for future generations of neighbors.
