About The Dakota
The Dakota East Side Ice House has been a San Antonio institution since opening in 2018, located less than 5 minutes from downtown. Recognized as one of the best Ice Houses by the San Antonio Current, featured in Texas Monthly, and celebrated by locals as the chillest spot in town.
We're a community gathering place where everything from gentrification to motorcycles gets discussed over some of the best live music in the city. San Antonio's Eastside is one of the most diverse communities in the region — we spotlight that uniqueness for future generations.
Parking is available in our lot across the street and freely on the neighborhood streets.
